Provides insurance carriers and MGAs/MGUs a robust, comprehensive billing and accounting capability. Policy lifecycle transactions generate billing transactions, ensuring that policy and billing never get out of step.

BillingExpert represents a significant advance in technology allowing for business driven invoice (summary or detail) and print configurations. Built in automation is paramount to the efficiencies of this module.

Dynamic billing plans and pricing rules provide flexibility in supporting various business arrangements. Premium audit transactions and reversals also generate billing transactions. The module provides complete support for bills, credit memos, manual invoices, bill review and approval, cash application, refunds, EFT and lockbox processing, collections, write-offs, commission payables and GL support.

Comprehensive reporting is provided for; transactional reports and business summary reports such as customer statements, AR ledger, aged trial balance etc.

BillingExpert uses several key capabilities of the Vikaran InsuranceExpert® platform including a workflow engine, business rules engine, document management, customer portal, and ad-hoc query tool. A modular design also supports most third party integrations.

Our proprietary two-layer security model enables data context security in addition to traditional function and role based security. Native integration with PolicyExpert provides auditable transaction trails for all bills and credit memos.
