Hastings Mutual Insurance Selects 4Sight Business Intelligence for Property & Casualty

Press Release from Sapiens

Hastings Mutual Insurance Company selects the 4Sight business intelligence product for their organization.

Austin, TX — 4Sight Business Intelligence, Inc., a leading provider of off-the-shelf property and casualty specific business intelligence (BI) products, announced that Hastings Mutual Insurance Company (HMIC) has chosen 4Sight Business Intelligence for Property & Casualty Insurance.

“We conducted a formal selection process, including detailed Proofs of Concept, to find the right business intelligence solution for us. We selected 4Sight,” said Tim Bremer, CIO of HMIC and co-sponsor of the data warehousing and BI project, “because their solution gives us the ability to bring in our data from multiple data sources and provides us with a large number of reports and dashboards out-of-the-box. Additionally, the underlying capabilities of drag-and-drop report building for our users and the ability to modify the application, all based on Pentaho’s BI platform, provides us with the tools to meet our current and future business information needs.”

“Our emphasis continues to be providing a product with easy installation and the ability to expand as needed which satisfies carriers and MGAs of all sizes, writing all lines of property and casualty insurance,” explained Robert Clark, Development Director at 4Sight.

"Hastings Mutual Insurance will be able to integrate 4Sight into their environment in a relatively short time with big returns for their users, which includes the ability to extend the 4Sight BI solution to their agents, business partners and customers.”

Michael Kinnary, CFO of HMIC and co-sponsor of the project, said HMIC was impressed with the experience of the staff and the ability of 4Sight to understand their business and technical needs.

“Instead of going through the long and costly implementation cycle that building a warehouse and BI solution from the ground up would entail, the 4Sight product will allow us to quickly return value to the business.”
