Featuring a low-profile design, the ExpressSAS H308 and H380 host adapters combine an eight-lane PCIe bus architecture with 3-Gb SAS technology to deliver data transfer rates of up to 300 MB/sec. per port. The H-Series adapters are interoperable with a wide range of SAS and SATA storage devices including JBOD enclosures, tape drives and RAID arrays and deliver high-performance access to data for applications in DVA and IT infrastructures. Applications for these cards include video post-production, digital film production, pre-press production, tape backup, audio production, email compliance, data warehousing, data mining and transaction based environments running on Mac OS X, Windows or Linux platforms.
