Tropics Software Technologies to support SCHBSIF’s ongoing success in providing workers’ compensation insurance to the home builders industry

Sarasota, FL – June 15, 2009 – The South Carolina Home Builders Self Insurers Fund, a provider of workers’ compensation insurance to the residential construction industry, and Tropics Software Technologies, a national software company specializing in workers’ compensation systems, announced today that SCHBSIF has selected Tropics to provide its new policy, claims and billing administration system.  In addition to providing more robust workers’ compensation software functionality to its internal employees, SCHBSIF will be utilizing the new system to extend on-line inquiry and processing to its agency force.
