WASHINGTON, Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Agency for International Development and HP today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that is intended to help both organizations address urgent needs of the world's poorest people. USAID and HP will seek to collaborate on projects that promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics programs, global health, the development of responsible mineral trading systems and other programs that support economic opportunity through entrepreneurship.
